Direct Spaces Release Notes 1.17

To ensure your users are benefiting from the newest features, enhancements, and fixes, EMS Software recommends that you upgrade to the most current release of your EMS product.

You now need the .NET Framework 4.8 on the application server.

You only need the latest downloads for any component since they are cumulative.

If you want to get a Direct Spaces license contact your Accruent account executive.

Enhancements

• We removed the barcode scan icon from the Active conversations widget. (Application version 2.7.4)

• When you access a draft reservation from the Active conversations widget, the search filters originally used to search for a room are retained. (Application version 2.7.4)

• We made the following accessibility improvements (Application version 2.7.4):

  • Text contrast

  • Screen reader

  • Zoomed text

• We made user interface improvements throughout the app.

Improvements and Issues Fixed

• You can view attachments in Direct Spaces via a web browser.

• In your device’s accessibility settings, if you turn on large text, text no longer runs off screen. (Application version 2.7.4)

• If you have the following global parameter configurations, you can now successfully progress through creating a new reservation:

  • Billing reference and PO set to not show on reservation details.

  • Billing reference and PO number set to require and validate.
